An Educational Tour on Lice Treatment and Prevention
A leader in the lice treatment industry, Lice Clinics of America – Northwest Arkansas has traveled to three schools in the Northwest Arkansas region to educate school nurses on lice prevention and treatment.
The Tour
On August 1st, 2018, members of the treatment team including Wade Huntsman, Clinic Owner and Jessie Foley, Director of Clinics traveled to the Bentonville Arkansas school district. There they met with 30 nurses from the school district, elementary, middle and high school campuses. Services, products and payment options were reviewed and nurses were very receptive and excited about a new lice treatment option available to themselves and students.

The next stop on their tour took owner, Wade Hunstman and Director of Clinics, Jessie Foley, to Springdale Public Schools located in Springdale Arkansas. On August 6th, the team presented to 35 Springdale nurses from the Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the district. The 30-minute presentation focused on treatment choices, the prevention products, client education, , payment options and clinic information. . Clinic owner, Wade Huntsman reported, “Our clinics provide a range of treatments as well as payment options that make a solution possible for virtually any family.”
The final trip took them to the Fayetteville school district in Arkansas to educate local nursing staff and faculty to identify, effectively treat, and preferably prevent head lice. The 25 school nurses treat a variety of age groups from elementary, middle and high school. Lice Clinics of America NWA presented the information and was able to answer questions and provide insight on the steps that should be taken if a lice outbreak occurs.
